Last Night's Dinner #44: Gratin d'endives au jambon

This is a great recipe for endives. The saltiness of the ham is a nice balance to the slight bitterness of the endive. Oh, and let's not even talk about the richness and creaminess of the béchamel sauce and the shredded gruyère cheese topping!

I also made one of my favorite easy pasta dishes - Spaghetti alla Carbonara.

Unfortunately, I had to use Tagliatelli because I ran out of Spaghetti. It's not as good with Tagliatelli because it's a little too much pasta for the simple "sauce".
