Meringue. An unsuccessful batch.

In an effort not to waste the egg whites from making shortbread cookies, we decided to make meringues. Not really sure what went wrong, but as you can see most of them oozed out crystallized sugar.

Next time? Egg white omelette.

you could crush the outside of the meringue if it is crunchy enough and put in a sundae bowl mix with cream and strawberries or raspberries we call this dessert ETON MESS,funny name i know but it is delicious.
