Welcome Seedlette!
I have been dying to share this news since Day 1 but thought it would be best to wait until our second ultrasound...
After 6 loooong months of trying, we finally have a little seedling in the works!! I know six months doesn't seem like an awfully long time, but when you're taking your temperature everyday, charting your basal temperature + watching for patterns, peeing on a stick to check your fertility levels, chika-boom-boom-time becomes more like an insane set of military drills... only to get continuous negatives from little miss EPT - it really does feel like an eternity!
The best part of the story?
The month (November) that I decide to let it all go (we had family visiting & staying with us for the holidays) and stop all of the tracking craziness - basically wrote-off the month and decided to resume operation baby in full force the following month... I take a home pregnancy test, totally expecting to see the usual glaring-at-me negative sign (call me crazy but I swear it comes with its own evil "NO! YOU ARE NOT PREGNANT" sound effect) AND whaddya know!?!!??
I'm currently on my 4th month and finally getting over the infamous fun times of the first trimester. It wasn't a pleasant one for me and oh how I wish I was able to share all of the pleasantries with you all. Hillsy and I are both over the moon with this one and can't wait until the seedling (aka seedlette, seedlebug) is born. You can be sure that I'll be documenting every step including the process of turning my craftroom/office into the nursery!
