Lifeflix Rewind

Happy Friday!
I was good this week and managed to bust out a handful of dinners - I think I'm slowly getting used to owning two blogs and managing the posts (or should I say managing my own expectations). I've been driving myself bonkers trying to increase the number of posts per day for Heart Handmade and I finally came to realize that my posts don't exactly take seconds to dream up - so rather than driving myself nuts over it, I'm taking a much more relaxed approach and hopefully everybody will appreciate the concept of quality vs. quantity (I hope).

Ooops and I forgot to mention -- I wasn't chosen to be a juror, better luck next time!

So here's this week's recap:
:: The best Salmon dish (Salmon with Agrodolce Sauce) that I've made - I swear!
:: A light salad perfect for Spring! Orange and Fennel Salad
:: A "how-to" on cutting perfect orange segments (aka supreme)
:: Step-by-step tutorial on making recycled catalog notebooks
:: Can you tell, I'm really into fish this week... Halibut with Peas à la Française
:: Oh and I can't wait to go to the Brooklyn Flea on Sunday. Are you going to be there? Let me know so I can stop by and say hello!

Hey Marichelle!

Have been having a good read of your blog and am loving it! Your flavours are great- the pics are really cool and the layout is great! Did you design it yourself?

Best,

Donal x

In all that you do, I am inspired to add these tantalizing recipes to my repetoire!
So - do you know "Chocolate & Zucchini" she has a blog, and several books and I love her recipes. The mix of flavors, I think you would love.
If it is any help, you make all this look so easy and attainable. Keep us inspired!

Hi Donal! Thank you, I'm glad you like the layout and yes I did design it myself. Thanks again for dropping by. Can't wait to see what you'll be cooking this week!

Hi Patty, thank you so much for the kind words =)
Isn't Clotilde the greatest? Chocolate and Zucchini was probably one of the first blogs I ever read, I love her style - so yes, totally up my alley. Thank you for thinking of me!
