Sweet Smell of Success
Apart from the two hour delay (each way) caused by wires mysteriously collapsing on the train tracks it was a successful trip on all fronts. Fabric. Check. Canolis from my favorite Italian Bakery in the East Village. Check.

Ooooh...those canolis are on my list of things to try next time I'm in the city! They look deliciously decadent.
