Slipcovers

Remember these Danish style dining room chairs? Well, I knew I had to do something about the cushions - they were pretty dirty when I bought them. But for $5 each, I couldn't pass them up and I knew I could whip something up. Unfortunately they weren't the easy to reupholster kind - it wasn't just a matter of unscrewing 4 screw and voila - stapler time. Nope, this was a case for the ol' slipcover.


The project took me about 2 days to finish (a total of 4 tie-back slipcovers). I'm sure I could've done a better job (straighter seams, tighter fit for the white one - but seriously I just wanted them done! I'll be painting these chairs white - surprise surprise.
