Coldspring NY
Our neighborhood hunt continues...
We took a trip out to Coldspring, NY - about an hour train ride (Metro North) north of New York City. A nice view of the Hudson...
It's a small village of 3000 people, tons of antique shops and very cute houses.
It seemed like a nice enough quiet village, but for the house prices we weren't really sure it was worth the commute.
I bought these two books from one of the antique shops - I thought that they would make a great addition to the shop (one that I will own one day).

we love cold spring and the main street is kind of like a mini-nyc with the restaurants/shops! we also like beacon very much and when we fantasize about a country home think of looking there.
