The road ahead
There comes a time (sometimes more than once) when you hit the end of a road and you're suddenly faced with unmarked dirt roads - ones that haven't quite made it on your map. You get out of the car and attempt to peer down each one, twisting your neck to the right... to the left, getting on your tippy tippy toes to try and catch a glimpse of what lies head... but nada. They're all pretty curvy and hilly, so it's unclear what lies ahead.
I think I've hit that road. I've been smooth sailing for almost 3 years now, living in a new vibrant city, enjoying my new found freedom in the city life that I've always craved since I was kid coming into the big city with my mom on the subway from the outer boroughs. For some reason, I can't help but think that it's time for a change. CHANGE isn't such a scary word for me. It's actually something I crave and even need in order to keep me going. It's the choosing part that scares the shit out of me. I've always had problems with making decisions - I've never been much of a believer in astrology but I can definitely say that I'm a true Libra. Some would argue that I probably trained myself to fit the mold perfectly... but either way, my indecisiveness is a true mark of the "scales".
Anyway, I'm not really sure what all this means (yet) - but I can definitely see the intersections ahead. I guess the big question is, do you stay on the main drag and just coast or do you veer off? Stay tuned...

i think we're going to have to get you a GPS ;-)
Enigmatic! Maybe pull over to a metaphorical rest-stop, have a coffee and think about it? ;)
Good to have you back.
gotta say i'm right there with you. sorry, i don't really have any words of wisdom.. just can't wait to see where the road will take you :0)
karen, amanda and amanda w.
karen & amanda - love your comments!!! GPS for life... sign me up! Amanda, a rest-stop sounds good to me... maybe I'll have some bubble tea and think about it all :)
amanda w - sometimes knowing you've got company is better than words of wisdom... Thank you!!!
i hear what you're saying and hope your next step will reveal itself when you are ready for it.
i'm also a libra and plagued by indecisiveness. i feel better knowing that i'm not the only one and that i didn't concoct that excuse all on my own ;).
i am a virgo but bear the markings of a libra (always have).
i think your true destiny will unfold, and if you coast the way you've been coasting these past 3 years, you will only find happiness ahead. ;) (that was me pretending to be pseudo psychic... but seriously, i can't wait to hear what lays ahead)
Cindy, definitely good to know I'm not alone!!! Did you change your icon pic?? I like it!!
Jade, thank you!! (I really hope you're right!)
good luck with whatever decision you make! I know exactly what you mean, i'm a true libran too.... :P
Whatever it is, I'm sure you'll be alright. Most people cringe at the thought of getting new pair of eyeglasses. Life is a gift and you're living it to the fullest. You said something about "indecisiveness," I think it is quite opposite. I'd say you know what you want because we all know we got only one life to live and you're maximizing every opportunity and doing things that will leave lasting memories in your mind.
Keep it up sis, live every day as if it's your last.
