Different but the same
Hours just fly by, I can't believe it's already 3pm. I'm making dinner for Luis (my gay boyfriend) tonight - it's his birthday tomorrow. Would you believe he said to make sure that I was cooking something light. For those of you who don't know Luis, he's obsessed with food - but not in a good way. He's the type that dabs his pizza, will eat frozen grapes instead of a tub of Dulce de Leche and here's the best one ... you know the mixed salads that you get for lunch, the one where you choose the ingredients and then they toss in the dressing - Luis will stuff napkins inside the container and shake it up to get rid of the excess dressing!!?! I was going to bake him the Deep Dark Brownie but I'll be nice and skip the all-butter frenzy. I'll take pics of dinner and post them tomorrow. I'll try to take one with the cream dripping down Luis' chin.
I wanted to show you how life at home hasn't changed all that much (yet) from office life. I'm still glued to my computer, still drinking coffee, maybe the breakfast is a tad bit fancier. You'd be comforted to know that my day usually starts at 7:30am (interesting how your mind works when there's no pressure). I was at the gym by 9:30 for a total body class, I hated this lady's class with a passion but I know that it's good for me so I'll try to go again next week (even though I wanted to throw my 2.5 lb weight at her - believe me 2.5 was enough, this lady was a rep demon). I stopped into Trader Joe's to pick up ingredients for dinner. I made some eggs and spent the entire afternoon on my computer (reading blogs, writing entries, frustrated with how your comments aren't showing up - spent a good hour trying to figure this out).
