Whatcha Makin?

Noticed that we were getting low on soap and as much as I'd love to order some from my favorite Etsy soapers... trying to cut down on spending this month so I busted out my supplies and made a couple of batches. These should last us for a while.

I almost didn't want to wrap them up and put them away, they were deodorizing the kitchen for days. I made a batch of "Shortbread Cookie" yum! and "Flower Tea", which is like a musky vanilla-ish scent.

Alright I have a busy day of crafting ahead of me. Talk to you guys tomorrow!

hi marichelle :)
what are you using for your soap mold these days?

Hi Lisa,
For this batch, I just used a couple of Trader Joe's soup cartons that I had saved a while ago. I also use this tray mold from bramblerry http://www.brambleberry.com:80/Rectangle-Tray-Mold-1-sheet-P4198.aspx

The only annoying thing about using recycled carton containers is that it's flexible so it sorta expands near the top (since it's not solid) so it's not 100% perfect - but I don't mind it so much since it's for personal use.
